About Carol Walden
My art and writing career spans almost three decades. I am a portrait artist, writer/illustrator, muralist and paper sculptor. However, I create many other art pieces, on commission and for sale.
I’ve held solo exhibitions, participated in several group exhibitions, worked as an art consultant/curator, and also facilitated group processes for creative business cultures, community resilience, and performance art.
As a career and travelling artist, I have lived off my wits and art for many years, and raised my children with those wits, performing extraordinary feats of imagination to make ends meet in sometimes very unique ways and in some very tough times.
